In collaboration with Strukton Rail, Dragonwood Rail has been able to install the first bamboo composite sleepers into the Dutch track.

This sleeper does not contain creosote and does not leak anything into the surroundings. It is a solid strong and rigid material and will last for 40 years in the track. It does not shrink or wrap and keeps the gauge of the tracks within 0,5mm.
